5. That as evidencing the size of your Petitioner's operations and the

volume of business done during the last twelve months, British aircraft and

supplies have been imported by your Petitioner both into Hong Kong and China

to a total sum in excess of HK$4,500,000.00 (conversion from sterling being at

present rate of exchange).

6. That your Petitioner is desirous of calling attention to the following

short history of Hong Kong Flying Club :

(a) The Constituent Meeting of the Hong Kong Flying Club was held in

December, 1929 under the Presidentship of His Excellency Sir Cecil.

Clementi, G.C.M.G. In the course of his speech at that meeting Sir

Cecil Clementi said in part :-
